A reminder that WCRP is calling for proposals to host a dedicated project office to support the coordination and activities of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP). CMIP is an extremely successful project, involving many hundreds of climate researchers. It works closely with modeling centres around the world to share, compare, and analyze the latest outcomes of global climate models. CMIP model products fuel future climate research and its analyses form the basis of climate assessments and negotiations.
The deadline for proposals is 15 September 2020 (extended from the previous deadline of 31 August 2020). For more information, see the Call for Proposals.
