This international CEOS and WMO-GSICS workshop will discuss the needs, state of the art and vision for a space-based climate observing system. It will bring together experts from space agencies, industry, academia, and policy makers, with the intent to quantify the benefits and consequential specifications of a space-based climate observing system along with a roadmap to implementation.
