Understanding and Modelling Atmospheric Processes 2018

The 2nd Pan-GASS Meeting "Understanding and Modelling Atmospheric Processes" will close its abstract submission on 7 November (extended from 31st October). To register your contribution in time, see the Pan-GASS UMAP abstract submission page.

The 2nd Pan-GASS meeting is sponsored by the ARC Centre of Excellence for Climate System Science. It aims to bring together NWP and climate scientists, observationalists and modellers to discuss key issues of atmospheric science and to coordinate efforts to improve weather and climate models.

The meeting program will include all aspects and methods of model development, from deterministic numerics to stochastic forcing; process modelling to parametrization; observational constraints to diagnostic techniques; as well as idealized modelling to operational forecasting and climate predictions. For the meeting's full scope likewise consult the Pan-GASS UMAP abstract submission page.

Registration for the 2nd Pan-GASS meeting is possible until 30 November (extended from 15 November) on the Pan-GASS UMAP registration page.
