Call for WCRP Digital Earth Activity new working group members

The WCRP Digital Earth Lighthouse Activity is seeking nominations (including self-nominations) for Working Group (WG) members for each of it’s three main activities:

  1. Km-Scale modeling 
  2. Model-Data Fusion 
  3. Digital Twins - Beyond Physical Systems

How to Apply 

Please provide a 1-page CV (including education and current institution) and a brief statement of the nominee’s relevant experience and how it maps onto the activities of each working group  as a single PDF by February 1st 2026 to Maureen Wanzala, WCRP secretariat at This email address is being protected from spambots. Renumeration 

These are voluntary, unpaid roles 

Term 

The initial term length is 4 years, with the possibility to renew twice, each time for an additional two years.
