Ouranos, a consortium on regional climatology, with a mission to acquire and develop knowledge on climate change and its impacts, as well as relevant socio-economic and environmental vulnerabilities, seeks a director to head the new International Project Office (IPO) for the World Climate Research Program (WCRP) core project “Regional Information for Society” (RIfS), located in Montréal, Canada. The RIfS Project aims to strengthen ties between research on climate and the information needs of societies and governments.The director will assemble a team, define the IPO’s identity and fulfill its mandate.
