ArrowConference Gala at the Denver Art Museum
WCRP and The Ball Aerospace and Technologies Corporation are sponsoring the Conference Gala at the Denver Art Museum, housed in two iconic architectural landmarks. The museum is located a short 10-minute walk from the Sheraton Hotel (click here for directions). Join your colleagues for food and access to the world-class Native American art exhibits in the museum's original building designed by the innovative architect Gio Ponti. Attendees will also be able to tour a collection of contemporary American West art haused in the new Hamilton Building designed by architect Daniel Libeskind. Security will be posted along the route during the hours of the event. Dress code is business casual. Appetizers & non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. Cash bar will be available for alcoholic beverages.
Although we are encouraging everyone to walk (click here for directions), shuttles between the Sheraton and the Denver Art Museum will be available for those who are unable to walk, or in case of rain or snow.

The USGCRP leadership invites the assembled WCRP participants to an overview and discussion of the major directions for the USGCRP, including the decadal Strategic Plan for the Program, which will be open for public comment, the National Climate Assessment, and new Program activities under development to support the goals and objectives of the Plan.  Panelists include: Dr. Thomas R. Karl, Chair of the US Subcommittee on Global Change Research, and Dr. Thomas Armstrong, Director of the USGCRP National Coordination Office.
